We asked Denise a few questions about work and play.

What does your working day consist of?
I recently went from an administrative assistant to a project manager. As a project manager, I make sure clients receive deliverables in a timely fashion, coordinate the ordering of services with vendors, and following up with lots of phone calls and emails to make sure we stay on schedule and meet our deadlines. Since my administrative assistant position was not filled, I also still order supplies, mail packages, notarize documents, apply for and renew licensing for the company and engineers, and basically anything else my bosses ask for assistance with.
How do you spend your free time?
I try to read as much as I can, but unfortunately most of it is for school these days. I DVR lots of TV shows and spend hours catching up on all of them. I enjoy going for walks, watching a good movie, listening to music, and just hanging out with friends and family.
Favorite Food?
I love Kobe Japanese Steakhouse. I would eat just about anything if it was covered in Kobe’s delicious white sauce!
What four people would you invite (from any point in history) to eat with you?
Marilyn Monroe, Walt Disney, Barack Obama, Elvis Presley
Favorite Place?
I haven’t had the opportunity to travel the world like I would like to, so from what I’ve experienced Boston, MA is by far my favorite place. I love the combination of the buzz of the big city and its diverse history. Plus it’s home to one of the greatest (in my opinion, THE greatest) baseball teams of all time, the Red Sox. I definitely hope to live in this great city one day.
My (ex) best kept secret?
I used to really be into boy bands. It all started with New Kids on the Block back in the 80’s and continued on with NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, 98º, etc. I never got to see NKOTB live back then, so my two best friends and I jumped at the chance to live out a childhood dream at their reunion tour concert in Tampa.
