We asked Jeff a few questions about work and play.

What does your working day consist of?

On an average work day, I spread my time amongst managing a multitude of ongoing A&E projects and sharing my vast supervisory skills with the masses of drafting and design personnel on staff. Back to work, guys!

How do you spend your free time?

I enjoy my time away from work spending it with my family: my beautiful wife, Kelly, and three great kids, Chelsea, Kaitlyn, and Grant. By dark of night, I join legions of others fighting to the death in first and third person shooters. I’m obsessed with video gaming, online and offline.

Favorite Food?

Rolladen. It is a classic German dish. Tenderized beef, pounded flat, then rolled around a filling of bacon and onions, held together with kitchen string, which is removed while dining.

What four people would you invite (from any point in history) to eat with you?

Jesus Christ, Albert Einstein, Groucho Marx, and Homer Simpson. I know, one of these individuals doesn’t belong on the list, but I couldn’t help it. I love those zany theoretical physicists!

Favorite Place?

Traverse City, Michigan. Sleeping Bear Dunes. Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive. Scenic overlook of the dunes and Lake Michigan.

My (ex) best kept secret?

Singing. My wife and I used to sing in a showcase and also sang backup vocals in the Dick Wagner Band (a very talented former lead guitarist for Alice Cooper and a songwriter). I also had my own karaoke show for a few years. The highlight of all this was probably singing in front of 2000+ with the live band at an outdoor benefit concert at my home town university. That’s all ancient history now, but I still like to get out and sing karaoke on occasions.
