We asked Michelle a few questions about work and play.
- What does your working day consist of?
- My day typically starts either in a hotel room or in my home, and continues throughout the evening! My workday consists of touching base with both our potential and present customers. I work with them and the team here at AW Solutions to find answers to service needs they may have as well as to develop great towers to build and own. I travel extensively, so have learned to multitask in airports, in hotel parking lots and just about anywhere else a wireless signal is available!
- How do you spend your free time?
- Most of my free time is spent outdoors, either with my three English Bulldogs, horseback riding, fishing or hiking. I also dabble in photography, with my three dogs often being my favorite subject. I am also an avid Grey’s Anatomy viewer and am passionate about NFL football, with the TN Titans being my team!
- Favorite Food?
- Hmm… this is a tough one… because if you know me, you know that I am a foodie. I enjoy all types of ethnic foods, especially food with lots of spice, but sushi is probably my favorite.
- What four people would you invite (from any point in history) to eat with you?
- A meal with four people: The first would be my great grandfather who died when I was a child. I didn’t get to know him well and would love to hear his stories! The second would be Jonah, because that story always scared and fascinated me! The third would be Jackie Kennedy Onassis, because she seemed like such an elegant and strong woman that balanced her strength with her warmth. The fourth would be Annie Sullivan, who was Helen Keller’s teacher from the time Helen was 7 years old.
- Favorite Place
- Without a doubt… the British Virgin Islands! They are clean and well-cared for but not overpopulated, absolutely beautiful and very safe. The fishing isn’t too bad either!
- My (ex) best kept secret?
- Probably the one thing people know very little about is that I used to compete with horses for most of my adult life. My mom started this passion as she rode while she was pregnant with me, until two weeks before I was delivered. I have barrel raced, jumped fences and shown in a variety of western and cattle working classes. One of the best “vacations” I ever took was 4 days working on a ranch in Colorado!
