We asked Suzie a few questions about work and play.

What does your working day consist of?

As the Controller of AWS, my work day is quite varied. I can be processing employee payroll, creating and issuing purchase orders to existing vendors, to qualifying new vendors, to paying our vendors or simply following up on customer invoices.  No one day is the same and that is what I enjoy most about my job at AWS.

How do you spend your free time?

I enjoy talking on the phone with my family, unfortunately they all live outside Florida so our phone bills are always high. I also enjoy travelling and visiting with family, gardening and sitting by the pool with a good book and long drink.

Favorite Food?

Besides my husband Bob’s curry, I have to say that my favorite food has to be rack of lamb and or lobster.

What four people would you invite (from any point in history) to eat with you?

I would like to invite Gandhi, Hillary Clinton, Golda Meir, and John F Kennedy. I do not know what I would serve them, but I am sure the conversation would be fascinating and diverse.

Favorite Place?

My favorite place is Montreal. It is so cosmopolitan with wonderful restaurants and great shopping.  The second best place has to be the Banff and Jasper National Parks in the Rocky Mountains. The scenery is breath taking, absolutely beautiful.

My (ex) best kept secret?

I was born in Canada and after living in the USA for over 20 years my husband and I became US citizens about two years ago.  We are looking forward to voting in this and future elections.
